Personality

The research in personality and psychological assessment that we've performed at Virginia Tech has focused on a range of topics, from the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) on through more mainstream "Big Five" instruments, with a focus on their use in employment related settings. Recent research has focused on Wagner's new WAT inventory designed to improve the assessment of critical-thinking ability, relative to the high rates of guessing seen in instruments such as the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Inventory.
